Served warm or at room temperature. Good enough to eat as an appetizer by themselves or on small toasts Ingredients:
8 eggs |
1 cup shredded swiss cheese |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
300 g frozen asparagus, partially thawed |
Directions:
1. In a bowl whisk together eggs, 1/2 cup swiss cheese, milk, salt and pepper. 2. Cut tips of asparagus and set aside. 3. Chop remaining asparagus and add to egg mixture. 4. Pour into 8 square metal cake pan. 5. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. 6. Arrange asparagus tips neatly and evenly over the top. 7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden and knife inserted in centre comes out clean. 8. Remove from pan. 9. Cut into 16 squares. 10. Cut each square diagonally in half to form triangles. |
