A twist on this Classic I use Asparagus instead of broccoli. Great dish for company. Ingredients:
1 pound fresh asparagus, steamed. |
4 cooked chicken breasts, sliced. |
1/2 cup hellman's mayonaise |
1 tsp lemon juice |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1 tbs dill weed |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
pepper to taste |
1 cup bread crumbs |
2 tbs butter (melted) |
Directions:
1. Place Asparagus in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. 2. Arrange the sliced Chicken Breast on top of Asparagus. 3. Combine the rest of the ingredients except the bread crumbs , grated cheese and butter. 4. Pour the mixture over the Asparagus and chicken. 5. Mix the bread crumbs and cheese and pour evenly over the mixture. 6. Add the melted butter over the bread crumb mixture. 7. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until brown and bubbly. 8. Serve over rice with a fresh salad. 9. Enjoy 10. Tastes even better the next day!!!!!!! |
