Asparagus Bisque

Untired but may try this without blending. Just cutting asapragus in 1 inch pieces.
Ingredients:
20 ounces asparagus spears
3 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 onion, quartered
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons curry powder (to taste)
1 dash pepper
Directions:
1. Thaw the asparagus.
2. Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil; simmer covered 8 - 12 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
4. Process with blender until smooth.
5. Pour into bowl.
6. Serve hot or cover and chill at least 4 hours.
