Asparagus And Parmesan Foldovers

Asparagus rolled up in bread, spread with butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, then baked. Great for buffets, parties, etc.
Ingredients:
2 loaves sandwich bread
butter, softened
parmesan cheese
3 cans jolly green giant asparagus spears, drained and placed on paper towel to absorb the moisture
Directions:
1. Trim the crusts from the bread (save for crumbs, or homemade croutons)
2. Roll bread flat between two pieces of waxed paper
3. Spread each slice with softened butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
4. Place 1 spear on corner of bread and roll up
5. Secure with toothpick*
6. Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with cheese
7. Place on a cookie sheet
8. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes
9. *This can be done the day before, refrigerate, then baked the next day
