Asparagus and Crunchy Orange Top |

Simple and yummy! Ingredients:
1 lb fresh asparagus |
1 teaspoon butter |
1 1/2 tablespoons almonds, chopped |
1/4 cup orange marmalade |
Directions:
1. Snap off tough ends of the asparagus. 2. Remove scales if desired. 3. Arrange asparagus in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. 4. Cover and steam 4 minutes until crisp tender. 5. Drain; arrange on a serving platter and keep warm. 6. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat; add almonds, and saute until lightly toasted. 7. Stir in marmalade; cook until heated. 8. Spoon over asparagus. |
