A simpler, Americanized version of the soups that my aunt makes. Ingredients:
5 cups chicken broth |
3 cups napa cabbage, thinly sliced |
2 cups baby bok choy |
1 cup carrot, shredded |
1/2 cup frozen peas |
1/2 cup scallion |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring chicken broth to a boil in large havy pot. 2. Add cabbage and the rest of the fresh ingredients. 3. Cook 3-5 minutes. 4. Stir in oil and salt and pepper. 5. Serve. |
