I have been making this salad for years & can never leave a function without someone requesting the recipe. This is a nice, light slaw that is very simple to make. Ingredients:
1 bag angel hair slaw |
2 packages of ramen noodles |
1 bunch green onions (chopped) |
1 (3 oz) can of rice noodles |
1-1 1/2 cups slivered almonds |
** dressing |
1 cup oil |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup vinegar |
2 tbs soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Cook ramen noodles (without flavor packet). Once they are done, strain & put in large bowl. 2. In a small bowl combine ingredients for the dressing. 3. In the large bowl mix together the noodles, slaw, onions & dressing (you may want to only add about 3/4 of the dressing in to start). 4. Right before serving add in the rice noodles & almonds. |
