This is the ultimate way to use up that wonderful rare roast or teriyaki beef! It's so easy and it plates up like a million bucks! Serve it with some homemade bread and a nice Gewurz or Sauvi B and POW! Your family will love it! Read more ! It's fantastic picnic or pot luck fare as well! Ingredients:
salad |
3-4 cups fresh lettuce, bib, butter, romaine, spinach or combo |
1-2 cups grilled or steamed asparagus spears |
thin sliced cold grilled beef |
dressing |
1/3 cup soy |
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar |
3 tbs quality sesame oil (trader joe's) |
2 tbs fresh grated ginger |
1-2 tbs sugar |
s&p to taste |
Directions:
1. In a big flat bowl combine the lettuce, crispy cooked asparagus, and beef. Toss with dressing just before serving. 2. Options: Add or substitute leftover pasta (as pictured here) toasted sesame seeds, crispy noodles, toasted nuts, tomatoes, boiled eggs, or any green veggies you love or have on hand. |
