Asian Broccoli Salad

Asian inspired side dish, great with fish
Ingredients:
4 c fresh broccoli florets
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbs olive oil
1 jar (4oz) diced pimientos, drained
2 tbs slivered almonds, toasted
Directions:
1. Place broccoli in a steamer basket; place in a large saucepan on 1 in or water. Bring to a boil; cover and steam for 4-7 mins or until crisp-tender. Rinse in cold water; drain.
2. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, galic, sugar and pepper. Whisk in the oil. Let stand for 30 mins to allow the flavors to blend.
3. Add pimientos and almonds to the broccoli; drizzle with dressing and toss to coat.
