This Asian Black Bean Sauce is full of flavor from the gingerroot and crushed red pepper. It's also easy to make because everything goes into one pan. Ingredients:
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, undrained |
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce |
1 teaspoon grated peeled gingerroot |
1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind |
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper |
1 garlic clove, minced |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. |
