Asian beef and noodles using ramen soup mix; can used ground beef, ground turkey, or turkey strips/medallions; reduce sodium content by only using one seasoning packet. Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin, cut into strips |
6 ounce oriental ramen noodles, crumbled |
2 1/2 cups water |
2 cups stir fry vegetables |
1/4 tsp ground ginger |
2 tablespoons green onion, sliced |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or unti no longer pink. Drain. 2. Add the contents of one ramen noodle flavoring packet, and stir until dissolved. Remove beef and keep warm. 3. In same skillet, combine water, vegetables, ginger, noodles, and remaining seasoning packet. Bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. 5. Return beef to pan, cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Stir in onion and serve with soy sauce. |
