Ingredients:
3 cups water |
3 cups milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick-cooking grits |
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded asiago cheese |
1/3 cup chopped fresh basil |
1/3 cup chopped fresh chives |
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley |
3 tablespoons butter |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Bring water, milk, and salt to a boil in a large saucepan; gradually whisk in 1 1/2 grits. Cook, stirring often, 6 to 7 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in Asiago cheese, basil, chives, parsley, butter, and salt to taste, stirring until blended. |
