Ashley's Healthy (Whole Wheat Oatmeal) Banana Bread |

This is really good quick bread, and it's pretty healthy, with lots of oatmeal, and whole wheat. I sometimes like to add cinnamon- it adds some flavor and tastes really good! Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/8 cup butter |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup nonfat pain yogurt |
3 mashed bananas |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup quick oats |
1/4 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Cream butter and sugar together. 3. Add eggs one at a time beating after each one. 4. Add yogurt, bananas, and vanilla and beat. 5. Add flour, salt, and baking soda- beat just until mixed- not too much. 6. Add quick oats and pecans and stir with a spoon. 7. Pour into bread pan and bake for about 1 hour. |
