This is a simple put together appetizer that came from a Sunset Italian cookbook. Ingredients:
1 9oz. box frozen artichoke hearts |
3oz. cream cheese |
1/4 cup fresh chives |
1/4 cup softened butter |
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook artichoke hearts as directed on box and drain. 2. Butter a baking dish that is large enough to place artichokes in a single layer. 3. Blend cream cheese, butter, chives and salt & pepper. 4. Place a small amount on each artichoke and then cover evenly with Parmesan cheese. 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. |
