An old favorite of mine to make as an appetizer or to bring to a potluck. Ingredients:
2 jars marinated artichokes hearts |
1/2 onion - chopped |
4 eggs - beaten |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese |
salt |
pepper |
dash of tabasco |
2 tbls. ortega chiles (they come in a small can) |
Directions:
1. Drain 1 jar artichoke liquid in frying pan 2. Saute' onion until opaque 3. Mix the rest of ingredients together 4. Bake in a 9 X 11 glass pan at 350 deg. for 30 minutes 5. Let cool 6. Cut into small squares 7. Refrigerate........ |
