Ingredients:
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 jar (7-1/2 ounces) marinated quartered artichoke hearts, drained
1/4 cup tahini
1 tablespoon capers, drained
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
dash crushed red pepper flakes, optional
dash pepper
2 fresh rosemary sprigs, chopped
assorted fresh vegetables or baked pita chips
Directions:
1. Place the first 12 ingredients in a food processor; cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl; stir in rosemary. Serve with vegetables. Yield: 2 cups.
