This is creamier than the regular artichoke dip with a spicy twist. My sons absolute fav! Ingredients:
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese ( softened) |
2 tblsp milk |
2 cans of artichoke hearts( not marinated)chopped |
2 c grated parmesaen cheese |
2 jalepenos seeded and dice very fine |
1/4 tsp garlic powder |
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper |
1/2 tsp salt |
one grind of fresh ground pepper |
1/2 tblsp oil |
Directions:
1. Drain and chop artichoke hearts 2. in a mixer whip cream cheese and milk until soft and fluffy 3. add artichokes, cheese and seasonings 4. heat oil and saute chopped jalepenos until tender 5. add to mixture and blend by hand 6. heat at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes 7. serve with pita chips or french baguette |
