Found on a box of arrowroot. I am yet to try it - just storing here for later use Ingredients:
85 g butter |
55 g icing sugar |
1 egg yolk |
3 drops vanilla |
85 g flour |
90 g arrowroot |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees centigrade. 2. Grease a biscuit tray 3. Cream the butter and icing sugar well, add egg yolk and vanilla. 4. Mix in the sifted flour and arrowroot. 5. Turn out onto a floured board and knead lightly. 6. Roll out and cut into rounds. 7. Place on greased tray and bake in preheated 175 degrees Celsius oven for 20 minutes. |
