This is a flavorful marinade that I have used mostly with beef recipes for the grill. Cooking time = marinating time & is approximate. Ingredients:
1/3 cup cooking oil or 1/3 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup tomato juice |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/4 cup snipped parsley |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dried marjoram, crushed |
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 clove garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a zip lock bag. 2. Place lamb, pork, beef, or chicken into bag, press out air& seal. 3. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours to overnight, turning bag occasionally. |
