southwestern favorite Ingredients:
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
16-oz can of corn |
16-oz can of diced tomatoes |
1 package envelope dry chili seasoning mix |
1 lb. ground beef (extra lean) cooked and drained |
1 egg that has been beaten |
1 1/2 cups of milk |
3/4 cup of cornmeal |
Directions:
1. combine cornmeal,milk,and egg 2. stir in meat,seasoning,tomatoes,and corn until well blended 3. pour into cooker 4. cover and cook on high for 1 hour,then on low for about 3 hours 5. sprinkle with cheese and let stand until cheese is melted |
