                    Easy corn patties. Got the recipe from a friend. I love Hispanic food! Enjoy! Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 1/2 cups instant corn flour - i use masaca masa  |  
                                                1 1/2 cups luke warm water  |  
                                                1/4 cup shredded cheese - mozzarella is good  |  
                                                2 tablespoons milk  |  
                                                pinch of salt  |  
                                                margarine for coating pan  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Combine 1st five ingredients and mix thoroughly. Let stand about 5 minutes. 2. Form 16 to 18 round disc shaped patties about 1/4  thick. 3. Heat margarine coated skillet. 4. Cook arepas until lightly browned and crisp on each side. 5. Serve hot. Goes great with beans or soup!                              |
