EVERY time I make this bean dip, people crowd around the pot and ask me for the recipe. I make at least a double batch every time I make this and there's never any leftovers! This dip is excellent with Kittencal's Taco Seasoning Mix (Kittencal's Taco Seasoning Mix) instead of store bought taco seasoning. I serve this with Fritos - Big Scoops but you can serve with tortilla chips too, it's very tasty with lime flavored tortilla chips! Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans (i use no fat green chile & lime flavor) |
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies |
1 cup shredded cheese, taco blend works best |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 (7/8 ounce) packet taco seasoning |
1 green onion, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together
2. Heat until cheese is melted - I like to serve this in a small crockpot so I can keep it warm.
3. Serve with chips and prepare to hand out the recipe!
