I got this recipe from a box of store brand (Sunny Select) powdered sugar. It sounds good, and I'm guessing it would lend itself to different types of preserves as well. Ingredients:
4 cups powdered sugar |
1/4 cup apricot preserves |
1/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat all ingredients until smooth and creamy. 2. Makes enough to frost two 9-inch layers. |
