APRICOT WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hamm Estate in Plano, Texas in 1999. Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter softened |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1-1/4 cups all purpose flour |
1 cup uncooked oats |
1/2 cup coconut |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup white chocolate baking chips |
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots |
1/2 cup macadamia nuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Mix sugars, butter, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. 3. Add flour, oats, coconut, baking soda and salt then mix until soft dough forms. 4. Do not over mix then stir in nuts, chips and apricots. 5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2” apart and bake 8 minutes. |
