This recipe came from the Bisquick Cookbook. Ingredients:
2 cups bisquick baking mix |
1/3 cup dried apricot, chopped |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/3 cup whipping cream |
1 egg |
milk |
sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Grease cookie sheet. Mix baking mix, apricots, sugar, whipping cream and egg until dough forms. 3. Turn onto surface dusted with baking mix, roll in baking mix to coat. 4. Shape into ball, knead 10 times. 5. Pat into 8 inch circle on cookie sheet. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sugar. Cut into 8 wedges. 6. Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown, separate carefully. 7. Serve warm. |
