I haven't made this yet, but I don't want to lose it. Homemade in the Kitchen. Ingredients:
2 navel oranges |
4 1/2 cups pitted sliced unpeeled apricots |
3 cups sugar |
Directions:
1. Coarsely grate and keep the zest. 2. Separate the orange segments. 3. Combine orange segments (minus membranes), zest, apricots and sugar. 4. Bring to a boil over medium heat. 5. When mixture begins to boil, start mashing. 6. Reduce the heat to maintain a low boil and cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly-apricots like to burn. 7. Hot pack and seal. 8. Hot water bath 15 minutes. |
