This is a recipe my niece gave me. She learned to make this when she was on base in Germany while my nephew was in Iraq. This is very good and very easy. Ingredients:
1 package yellow moist deluxe cake mix |
1 cup vegetable oil |
1 package orange gelatin |
4 eggs |
1 cup apricot nectar |
1 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300.
2. Mix all ingredients together adding one egg at a time.
3. Mix with a wooden spoon until spoon will stand alone in middle of mixture in the bowl.
4. Spray a tube pan with cooking spray then pour mixture into pan and bake 1 hour.
5. Turn out of pan while hot.
6. Combine powdered sugar and remaining nectar and heat until well mixed.
7. Drizzle over cake while cake is hot.
