Apricot Kolacky Cookies

Ingredients:
1 can(s) solo apricot pastry filling
Directions:
1. Cream butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer.
2. Gradually stir in flour and baking powder. Refrigerate 1 hour.
3. Place dough on lightly floured bowl and roll to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with round 2 inch cutter. Using back of spoon or thumb indent the center of each cookie gently. Fill each with 1/2 tsp. apricot or your choice of fruit or cream cheese filling (see below).
4. Bake 300 for 10-12 minutes.
5. Optional Cream Cheese Filling:
6. Combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/2 C. Powdered sugar, 1 Egg Yolk and 1 tsp. Vanilla. Mix using and electric mixture. Place 1/2 tsp on top of each cookie instead of apricot filling.
