A yummy breakfast for a weekend treat! My roommates mother brought this recipe to my attention. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups water |
1/4 cup chopped dried apricot |
1/8 cup honey |
1 cup uncooked oats (quick or old fashioned) |
1 dash cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Bring water, apricots, honey & cinnamon to a boil. 2. Stir in oats, and return to a boil. 3. Reduce heat to medium, cook for about 1 minute for Quick Oats or 5 minutes for Old Fashioned oats. 4. Sprinkle some extra cinnamon and a drizzle of honey to serve. |
