APRICOT GOOEY CAKE I obtained this recipe from an estate sale when I purchased the family collection from the Ridings Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1 butter cake mix |
1 egg |
1 stick unsalted butter |
1/4 cup apricot preserves |
8 ounces cream cheese softened |
1 box powdered sugar |
3 eggs |
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix, egg and butter then spread in rectangular baking pan. 2. Mix cream cheese, preserves, sugar and eggs then sprinkle on top of batter. 3. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. |
