A sweet-and-sour chicken recipe that tastes easy to make, tastes fantastic, and enjoys a bit of presentation. My co-worker made this for my daughter and I as part of my training. Yumm. Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, skin-on, bone-in |
1 (12 ounce) jar apricot preserves |
1 tablespoon white vinegar |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
3 pinches salt |
10 garlic cloves, peeled |
fresh ground pepper (20 grinds) |
20 -30 sage leaves |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Trim any extra fat from the chicken breasts and place in a greased pan. 3. Mix all the ingredients and pour over the chicken breasts. 4. Roast until the tops of the chicken breasts are browned, about 35 minutes. |
