APRICOT CANDY DATED 1946 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ellington Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1983. Ingredients:
10-ounce package dried apricots |
1 orange |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Put apricots and orange through food chopper. 2. Add sugar. 3. Cook in double boiler until mixture is sticky. 4. Drop by tablespoonfuls into sugar. 5. Cool until firm. |
