These are one of my favorite bars ever. They are not too sweet and hard to stop snacking on them. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup powdered sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup crisco |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup apricot preserves |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
2 tablespoons butter, softened |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup dried apricot, diced |
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Crust:. 2. Mix all together. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minute. 3. Filling:. 4. Mix and spread over hot crust. Scatter almonds on top. Bake 15-20 minute at 350 degrees. |
