Hearty, healthy quick bread Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1 cup oatmeal |
3/4 c sugar, brown |
3/4 cup raisins |
1 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350, grease and flour a loaf pan 2. Soak raisins in warm water 3. Mix dry ingredients together 4. Add wet ingredients, stir until just combined. 5. Mix in raisins. 6. Put into pan, bake 55-60 minutes. 7. Remove from pan immediately and cool on a wire rack |
