This oatmeal is low fat if using skim or fat free milk. Very good for a great breakfast.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk (fat free, skim, low fat, etc.)
3/4 cup regular oats
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
dash of cinnamon
Directions:
1. Pour milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat
2. add oats and cook 8 minutes
3. add applesauce, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon
4. cook 2 minutes and serve
