Tasty version of meatloaf. Ingredients:
1 cup soft breadcrumbs (approx. 1 1/2 slices of bread) |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg, beaten slightly |
1/4 cup celery, chopped fine |
2 tablespoons onions, chopped fine |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
pepper |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon mustard |
Directions:
1. Combine meat ingredients well. 2. Shape into a round loaf in 8x8x2 pan. 3. Made a crater or well in center of meat loaf. 4. Mix the sauce ingredients- pour into depression. 5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. |
