Easy and tasty breakfast bread or during the day with a cup of coffee. Ingredients:
1c honey |
21/2c bisquick |
1c quick cooking oats |
2tsp. baking powder |
1/2tsp salt |
1 egg,beaten |
1c applesauce |
1c golden raisins |
1c walnuts,chopped |
Directions:
1. Combine bisquick,oats,baking powder and salt.;make a well in center of mixture. Combine egg,honey, and applesauce;add to dry ingredients,stirring till just moistened. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 71/2x31/2x21/4 loaf pans. 2. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 mins or till wooden pick in center is clean. 3. Cool in pan 10 mins,remove from pans and cool on wire rack! |
