This recipe goes with Cola Baked Ham With Applesauce Aspic Ingredients:
1 package unflavored gelatin |
1/4 cup cold water |
1 (16-ounce) can applesauce |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
fresh mint leaves |
Directions:
1. Soften gelatin in water. Place mixture in top of a double boiler; cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients, except mint leaves, mixing well. Pour into 5 lightly oiled 1/3-cup molds; chill until firm. Unmold onto a serving platter. Garnish with mint leaves. |
