These taste just like the decadent dessert served at the applebee's chain Ingredients:
4 egg whites |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup light brown sugar |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup milk |
8 ounces white chocolate |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1/4 cup cream cheese |
2 tablespoons maple syrup |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
8 scoops vanilla ice cream |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. whip the egg until they form stiff peaks. 3. add softened butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla and beat with an electric mixer. 4. in a seperate bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. 5. add teh dry ingriedeints to the wet and blend until smooth. 6. mix in milk, chocolate and walnuts. 7. pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 40 minutes. 8. slice into 8 slices when cool. 9. while cakes bakes combine1/2 cup butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese and maple syrup and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a bowl and beat with mixer. 10. heat a mini cast iron skillet on stove for 5 minutesarrange teh cake on each mini skillet heat sauce for 30 seconds and place a scoop of ice cream on cake and then pour over sauce garnish with walnuts. |
