This is the Perfect Recipe if you Love Apples Ingredients:
1-2/3 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
4 cups chopped unpeeled apples |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
frosting: 2 packages (3 ounce each) cream cheese (softened) |
3 tablespoons softened butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. In a Mixing Bowl, Beat Sugar & Eggs. Add Oil & Vanilla; Mix Well. Combine Flour, Baking Soda, Cinnamon, Salt, & Nutmeg; Gradually Add to Sugar Mixture, Mixing Well. Stir in Apples & Walnuts. Pour into a Greased & Floured 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Bake at 350 Degrees for 50 to 55 Minutes or until Cake tests done with toothpick. Cool on Wire Rack 2. For Frosting, Beat Cream Cheese, Butter, & Vanilla in Bowl, gradually add Powdered Sugar until the Frosting has reached desired spreading consistency. Frost Cake when Completely Cooled |
