I love warm tapioca with big chunks of apples and cinnamon! This is a yummy dessert on a cold day. Ingredients:
1/3 cup dry tapioca |
1 cup packed light brown sugar |
4 cups sliced tart apples |
2 cups water |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Measure and mix all the ingredients and let them sit for 5 minutes in a pan. 2. Bring to a boil stirring often. 3. Simmer until the apples are tender (around 12 minutes). 4. Serve warm with Ice Cream! |
