I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes. Diabetic: 1 fruit exchange. Ingredients:
6 ounces frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 cup cold water |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg or 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice |
Directions:
1. Mix cornstarch in 1/2 cup water until smooth. 2. Combine cornstarch mix, remaining water and concentrate in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constatnly, until syrup thickens. Season with spice to taste. 3. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers-reheat before serving. Will keep up to 10 days. |
