I think it's classical recipe of strudel (in my opinion) :) Very important to do it on the tea-towel, because make roll without towels impossible (the pastry is very thin)!!!!!!!!!! from this ingridients can make 2 strudels Ingredients:
1 kg apples |
1/3 cup of oil |
1/2 cup of hot water |
2 1/2 - 3 cup of flour |
cinnamon - 1 tea spoon (i like more) |
1 bun ( or cookie crumb 1/2 cup) |
1 cup of raisins |
sugar, butter - by taste |
Directions:
1. Pastry 2. mix hot water and oil 3. add flour 4. make a parsty (it takes near 6-10 min) 5. leave for 15-20 min 6. 1 bun ( or cookie crumb 1/2 cup) 7. slice apples 8. mix apples bun (or crumb), cinnamon and raisins 9. add sugar (by taste) - i don't like 10. cut 1/2 from pastry 11. roll it out 12. stretch it till pastry will be thin like paper 13. put melted butter (or oil) for all pastry 14. sprinkle sugar 15. put the stuffing 16. and make roll 17. bake till roll be gold |
