Here is one I found on the internet that has become a favorite of ours as it is sooo good. The 50 minute prep time incudes a 30 minute chill time. And this recipe can be made ahead the night before. :) Ingredients:
1/3 c. chopped onion |
1 lb. bulk pork sausage |
1 medium apple,(approx 1 c. ) peeled, finely shredded |
1/2 tsp. rubbed sage |
dash ground red pepper |
Directions:
1. Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into 12 (3 ) patties. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 2. Heat a 10' skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage patties; reduce heat to medium. Cook 5 minutes; turn. Continue cooking until patties are no longer pink (3-5 minutes). 3. Can be made ahead of time. |
