This was a winning apple recipe at a local apple festival many years ago. A nice change from tomatoe based salsas very nice with pork dishes especially grilled pork. Ingredients:
2 granny smith apples cored and finely chopped |
1 4 oz can diced green chiles |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. combine everything well in a meduim bowl cover and refrigarate at least two hours before serving to allow flavors to blend |
