3 cup(s) cooked jasmatiĀ® rice |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1 pinch salt |
1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
1 cup(s) grated mild cheddar cheese |
1 cup(s) milk |
1 med-lg apple, peeled and chopped |
1/3 cup(s) raisins |
1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
topping |
1 tablespoon(s) butter, melted |
1/4 cup(s) light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Put rice into large mixing bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar and salt. Add the sour cream, cheese, vanilla and milk; mix thoroughly. Pour over rice; add apples and raisins and mix well. Pour into buttered 2-quart shallow baking dish. 2. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over the rice mixture. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
