This probably came from a Bisquick source. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups biscuit mix |
3 tablespoons butter, melted |
3 apples, peeled and chopped |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
6 tablespoons molasses, divided |
Directions:
1. Make baking powder biscuit dough according to package directions. 2. Knead on a floured board for 30 seconds. 3. Roll out a 1/2-inch thick oblong shape. Spread with butter. 4. Combine apples, nuts, raisins, sugar and cinnamon; mix well; spread on dough. 5. Pour 2 tablespoons molasses over all. 6. Roll up jelly-roll fashion, cut in 12 1-inch slices, place in greased baking pan about 1/2-inch apart. 7. Pour 1 teaspoon molasses on each pinwheel. 8. Bake at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. 9. Makes 12. |
