is good as a dessert bread Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp.vanilla |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/2tsp. baking powder |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1 cup raisins |
1 cup shredded fresh apples(2 medium size) |
Directions:
1. Combine eggs, oil, flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, vanilla, 2. salt,& baking powder in large mixing bowl. Stir until 3. well blended 4. Stir in nuts, raisins,& apples until a rather stiff batter is formed 5. Mix until all ingredents are throughly blended, but do not overbeat 6. pour into a greased 81/2-by-41/2 inch loaf pan 7. Bake 375 for 1 hr. or until a tester inserted in the center 8. comes out clean |
