Sue's recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups apples, diced
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup oleo
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup water
Directions:
1. MIX APPLES, 1 CUP SUGAR, EGG, 1 CUP FLOUR, SALT, SODA, AND CINNAMON IN ORDER.
2. STIR IN VANILLA AND NUTS.
3. POUR IN UNGREASED 8 INCH DISH.
4. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 35 minutes.
5. MIX TOGETHER 1/2 CUP SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR, OLEO, 2 T FLOUR AND WATER.
6. COOK UNTIL THICK.
7. POUR OVER PUDDING AS SOON AS OUT OF OVEN.
8. SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM.
