Ingredients:
1 teaspoon(s) cornstarch |
1/3 cup(s) chicken broth |
2 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each) |
1 teaspoon(s) canola oil |
1 small apple, peeled and thinly sliced |
1/4 cup(s) finely chopped onion |
3 tablespoon(s) unsweetened apple juice |
1 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard |
1/8 teaspoon(s) dried thyme |
Directions:
1. • In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and broth; set aside. In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil. Remove and keep warm. 2. • In the same skillet, saute apple and onion until apple is crisp-tender. Stir in the broth mixture, apple juice, mustard and thyme; bring to a boil. Add pork chops. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160°. |
